SOLUTION OF HEAT CONDUCTION PROBLEMS BY EXODUS METHOD
Abstract
The principles of Exodus method and its application to the solution of heat conduction problems have been presented. The modeling of particles motions according to several finite difference schemes have been considered and various boundaryconditions have been analysed. As examples of the application of the method two particular problems have been solved: unsteady heat conduction in an infinite cylinder subjected to the boundary conditions of the third kind and twodimensional steady heat conduction in a square with three different kinds of boundary conditions.
