Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in LaTex (preffered), OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or Acrobat PDF document file format.
  • I have used the provided template and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • I have provided two or more suggested reviewers with their e-mail addresses and affiliations.
  • I have cited the Journal of Power Technologies in the past.

Author Guidelines

We strongly recomend to use a LaTex document class "elsarticle" double column with BibTex file which contains references.

For non-Latex users a template is provided here.

This journal adheres to the bibliographic and research paper, for each bibliography item the following data are strongly required:

Journals:

  • Names of all authors
  • Title
  • Journal name
  • Year
  • Volume
  • Number
  • Pages

Conference proceedings:

  • Names of all authors
  • Title
  • Booktitle (e.g. conference name)
  • Year

Books:

  • Title
  • Publisher
  • Year
  • Name of editor
  • Names of all authors

Technical reports:

  • Names of all authors
  • Title
  • Institution
  • Year


All papers with uncomplated bibliographic data will be returned to the authors.

Acceptable graphic format for images are EPS, TIFF and PNG.
Images should be submitted both embedded in the manuscript and as separate files.

All fonts must be embedded in graphic files.

Use one of the following fonts in your graphic images: Arial, Courier, Times, Symbol.

Avoid submitting plots containing small axes or oversized labels - any graphics should be of good quality and readable.

The resolution for gray and colour images should be set to 300dpi.

The resolution for monochrome (black and white) images should be set to 600dpi.

The width of plots should be 7cm (one column wide) or 15cm (two columns wide).

Provide captions to ilustrations separately.

Number the illustrations according to their sequence in the manuscript.
