ANALYSIS OF A CERTAIN OPERATOR EQUATION AS APPLIED TO THE EXAMINATION OF NUCLEAR REACTOR STABILITY
Abstract
An analysis has been performed herein of a certain operator equation as determined within the Banach space. This equation, provides a farm to which an extensive class of non-linear equations of various type can be reduced. The properties of solutions of a set of algebraic equations as well as those of an integral and of an integro-differential equation, have been given a consideration in detail. This has served as the basis for the determination of sufficient conditions of the global asymptotic stability of point kinetics model for a reactor incorporating a linear feedback, with the consideration given to the external reactivity oscillations.
