Abstract

The relation between the film thickness or performance of the apparatus and velocity of the skimming element, depth of its immersion and other parameters was presented in the article. Bands, oylinders and disks were used as the skimming elements. The analytical as well as experimental investigations lead to formulation of equations useful for design of the equipment.
