A DISTRIBUTED MODEL OF DYNAMICS OF HEAT EXCHANGERS WITH CONCENTRIC TUBES
Abstract
The paper supplies a discussion of a distributed model of dynamics within parallel flow heat exchangers. The method has been quoted herein of obtaining operator transfer functions characteristic for the dynamics of exchangers, and of deriving frequency characteristics out of those former. An analysis has been performed herein, of the influence of Reynold's numbers, of the length of the heat exchanger concerned, and of the thermal capacitance of the tube wall, upon the above characteristics. An explanation has been presented herein, to the resonance phenomenon.A block diagram has furthermore been presented herein, of heat exchangers involved.
