EXPERIMENTAL ARRANGEMENT FOR DETERMINING THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF STEEL
Abstract
The article presents principle of operation and construction description of an experimental arrangement for measuring thermal conductivity of solids. It consists of the Dynatech Corp. apparatus, control system of the cooling water pressure, thermal insulation removal systems and a vacuum system. The experimental arrangement may be used, among others, for investigation of the thermal conductivity temperature dependence of different kinds of steel.
