OPTIMIZATION OF THE REGENERATIVE CYCLE OF A LARGE STEAM TURBINE UNIT
AbstractBasic principles of the optimization of the regenerative cycle, including the scope of optimal decisions and the form of the objective function are described. Taking into account numerical features of the problem, the concepts for mathematical modelling of the regenerative cycle and the algorithm of calculations are proposed. Consequently, the detailed structure of the mathematical model is developed. Some results obtained from a numerical example are presented.
