CALCULATIONS OF THE COVERNOR STAGE AND GROUP OF STAGES OF A STEAM TURBINE AT VARIABLE OPERATING CONDITIONS
Abstract
The methods of performance calculations of governor stage and group of turbine stages at variable operating conditions have been presented. These methods are especially useful for mathematical modelling of transient processes in steam turbines. The appropriate set of formulae for calculation of turbine flow-part elements under consideration, based on literature data as well as on the results of the authors previous works have been given. The flow diagrams for computer calculations and some results obtained at applications of proposed methods have been presented.
