Virtual Power Plants - general review: structure, application and optimization
Abstract
In the article information about Virtual Power Plant (VPP) are gathered and presented. There is lots of paper which put attention to the new concept of generation and management of energy. The VPP concept is mainly an answer for growing up number of installed Renewable Energy Sources (RES). Nowadays where everything is 'smart' a concept of smart controlled Decentralized Energy Resources (DER) is worthy of considering. This artlicle is a review of some VPP idea and gives general pack of information about VPP. Some VPP structure and control methods are described. Test fields of VPP are presented too. In the end a short conclusion about VPP is showed.
