AN EVALUATION AND OPTIMUM SELECTION OF PUMPS IN WATER SUPPLY AND HEATING PUMPING STATIONS
Abstract
A critical analysis of energy consumption in water supply and heating systems in pumping stations is given. The method of pump selection is presented taking into account minimizing the total investment and exploitation costs. The optimum selection of variable — speed drive systems is considered.
