THE LEAST SQUARE METHOD FOR THE INVERSE HEAT CONDUCTION PROBLEM IN A MULTICOMPONENT DOMAIN

  • Jerzy Kołtyś

Abstract

The least square method is applied to solve the inverse coefficient type heat conduction problem in a nonlinear and multicomponent region. The condition of the identifiability based on analysis of the field of sensitivity is discussed to suggest the best location of sensors with minimization of standard errors of the coefficients. The results of numerical modeling are given.
