CALCULATIONS OF SHUTDOWN POWER IN THERMAL NUCLEAR REACTORS

Abstract

The calculations of power generated in thermal nuclear reactors as a result of radioactive decay of fission products have been performed. The results of calculations for 350 radioactive isotopes being elements of 91 chains of isobars with mass numbers in the range from 72 to 162 have been presented. The obtained results are in a good agreement with those published previously.
