Abstract

The work shows the numerical viscosity selection in a channel and a tube bundle in a two-dimensional power condenser description. Numerical viscosity improves the correctness of calculations to a great extent. Its selection is possible when some calculations with numerical viscosities chosen by the shot method are available. The criteria of selection are as follows: equality of the steam mass flow on inlet, on the contour line in front of the tube bundle, the outline of the bundle and on the condensation surface, and obtained by means of calculations a steam pressure drop in the channel and tube bundle which is equal to nominal values. These criteria can be satisfied only with certain approximation.
