THE INFLUENCE OF THE CROSS SECTION THRESHOLD LAW ON THE PROBABILITY OF COLLISIONAL PROCESSES IN PLASMA
Abstract
The method of determination of ionization process probabilities from different excitation atomic levels and their dependence on the shape of cross section function are presented (for temperatures of electrons < 1 eV). Numerical calculations have been done for a few different energy levels of hydrogen and ceasium atoms. The range of the electron density in plasma (as proof of this method) is presented.
