ENERGY - SAVING METHODS IN THE OPERATION OF PUMPS IN MUNICIPAL PUMPING STATIONS

Abstract

The paper presents two methods for the optimum flow-rate control of pumps in different pumping stations with regard to minimum energy consumption and/or its cost. The application of these methods can significantly decrease the operation costs in pumping stations and other pumping installations.
